In July 2009, Status Quos hugely successful Pictures tour rolled into Montreux in Switzerland as part of the renowned Montreux Jazz Festival, an annual musical event now celebrating its 43rd year. The band, led as always by the twin telecasters of Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt, delivered a blistering set of classic tracks covering their 40 years of hits with giant screens behind the stage illustrating high points from the Quos career. With the temperature inside the auditorium soaring, it was a hot and memorable night for band and fans alike that is brilliantly captured here.

This Blu-ray of Pictures Live at Montreux 2009 contains the full length concert and the new documentary Pictures: The Story of 40 Years of Hits.
